I don't think it's fair to blame the car. After looking at around 200 different printers and comparing more, features and prices I settled on this one because it had the best price and used the same cartridges as my old one that died. Gathered, installed, registered, and then I realized it was *just* a printer. That's why it was so cheap! No scanning/copying. my fault Update October 12th: I hate and despise this printer. He works when he wants, which is rare, like my daughter's friends. He randomly decides he's "missing" a cartridge. It's currently magenta, invisible to him, so he can't print his statement in black right now. He doesn't use remanufactured inks and doesn't always like outrageously overpriced HP inks. That and the fact that I didn't realize it wasn't copied or scanned makes me feel ashamed for not packing it up and sending it back right away. By the time it started having ink issues, the return period had already passed. Now do I have to pay someone to throw it away? UPDATE 5/11/2018 I switched back to HP Ink and it still doesn't accept the magenta cartridge. This POS pissed me off for the last time.
