My edges (hairline) are a total mess after wrong weaving, wig caps slipping under coarsely lined wigs, use of wig glue etc. I was amused at how this product has held up on my hair and I have a good one feeling that my edges are protected and can bloom again. The material is velvety which allows it to hold on to your hair without tugging or tearing and it really keeps the wig in place. I wear lace front wigs and I found that even the lace lay quite flat on this one. You can always apply a small amount of the product of your choice (Got2B etc.) to secure the tip so it doesn't lift, but this wig grip means you can go without glue. The grip will make your wig look tighter or stronger, for lack of a better word. But it is good! The firmness will most likely prevent the wig from shifting. It doesn't make the wig so tight that it cuts off blood circulation or causes headaches. For reference, I have 4C coarse natural hair.
