Not good for a touchscreen. That's the only downside I can find in them, it's not really a downside compared to what they do well. On this occasion I tried panting on my fingers to make them register on my phone's screen, which didn't work. I tried to lick them to keep warm and maybe touch the screen better sometimes. But I took pool heaters with me, they don't break. Sharp sheet metal corners, weight +100# with awkward handling, no problem. With their help I can lift small screws, plastic straps, coins. The back of these gloves breathes well, I used Harbor Freight 9mm black nitrile gloves which do not breathe at all and I was able to get a daily value of 1 pair. I used them to make a floor panel out of sheets of plywood, the gloves kept getting wedged between the side of the nail and the wood, when I drove the nail in it pinched the wood, didn't pierce the nail many times. As a result, I tore off several sheets of plywood. Very impressive (2" circumference, 6" field, lots and lots of nails). Sometimes I only use one glove and not a pair. So I divided them into 2 zippered pockets labeled "left" and "right". Just helpful tips for people like me. These are very good gloves.
