I bought this for my 95 year old father in law. He sits in his armchair most of the day and watches TV. He is a stubborn man and, for reasons of his own, refuses to go to the doctor to have his hearing checked and buy new hearing aids. What can you do, right? These speakers are draped over the headrest and control the volume. It dampens slightly. My husband plugged it into the TV's audio ports and the speakers picked up the signal wirelessly. The sound is great.
