This is your standard laceless Vans model that is an improvement in comfort over the "chuck" style, most often in a thin canvas version. The padding on the back is better, but the elastic is a bit stiff when you first pull it out (it wears out after about 8 hours of wear). I always wear a pair of these and change them about every 1.5-2 years. This pair is exactly the same as everyone else.
