This is our second pair for my picky son who loves to tighten his shoes. He likes high tops and loves Miles Morales so when I saw them I decided to try them on. This was our third couple in a month. He wore out two pairs of sketchers by tightening them, and they cost about $50 a pair. I found exactly the same but completely in gray leather. He wore them all school year and grew out of them. According to the chart, he was the size he was supposed to wear, but because they were high heels, his foot could not go past the heel. So according to the chart it should be a size 4 or 5 at most, but I took a size 5 1/2 because he was a 4 and I knew they were too tight. He loves 5 1/2 and they last a long time. Socks but good everywhere. He was so happy when they arrived. He wanted to wear them all the time. He said he loves the color schemes they do for this style and I agree. He looks cool in them and they remind him of Miles so they really boosted his confidence. If you don't want to lace them all the way down, you may need shorter laces. Great price, great style, and they lasted all year even when he went down the drain on a tour. After that they had to be washed. Something I noticed about them is that they show their wear with creases, but they don't wear like sketchers and licensed brands. The threads are falling out on them and the shoes look much older than they are. Even the Stride Rites do it very early.
