Review on H6054 LED Headlights with Ceramic H4 Socket - Upgrade your ๐Ÿ”ฆ Jeep XJ YJ Cherokee E250 with Hi/Low Sealed Beam 7x6 LED Headlight by Thomas Landis

more like STREAM than a good headlight - CHEAP DESIGN; BAD HEADLIGHT

I bought two KASLIGHT H6054 LED headlights but only installed one on the right side of my van so I can compare the LED on the right side with the worn out 6054 halogen headlight on the left can . The LED is pretty bright BUT THE LIGHT IS NOT FOCUSED ON THE HIGHWAY (the light is "sprayedโ€ everywhere like FLOOD), so some of the light aimed at the horizon (where you NEED light) is barely enough, and the light above the horizon is a "flare" for oncoming cars. The LED headlight has 15 individual LEDs, each located in a separate recess, while 6 LEDs light up in the "low beam" and all 15 LEDs in the "high beam". I completely covered the halogen bulb and made a cardboard shade for the LED spotlight with a hole in it so the light from ONE LED would illuminate the wall 200 feet away. I systematically light ONE LED on the opposite wall. Each LED illuminated the wall in the same way - there was no difference between the "low beam" and "high beam" LEDs. And the worn-out halogen illuminated AT THE HORIZON just as powerfully as a new 15-LED headlight did the same area near the horizon. The LED headlight was bright BUT THE INTENSITY ON THE HORIZON WAS NO BETTER THAN A WORN HALOGEN, and the halogen wasn't wasting light where NONE WANTED it (in the sky) or was needed. The LED was bright but did NOT do the job it needed. Cheap design; bad result. LOST MY MONEY; Now I have to buy a better one to replace it. Jim in Michigan
