I bought this expecting it to be able to be sturdy, solid, and not very cheaply made. I haven't 8 lb cat and had expected the cube to be solid so I was shocked when the box arrived and it was 3 in tall by I don't know how long. When I opened it up the cube is too thin pieces of not wood and the rest is fabric. There's no way he would fit in it and would end up because he's likes to stretch out having parts legs head etc hanging over that thin piece of wood with the fabric on it and it wouldn't take long for it to fall apart not to mention that's not a very comfortable way to lay. So I didn't even bother putting it together I just packaged it back up and returned it. I'm very disappointed to see that a lot of cat trees these days are made this way with the two thin pieces of cardboard and fabric to make it into a cube. Or worse yet you have to put the fabric on yourself. I was looking forward to a nice cubby with a squishy bed on top and instead got this. Very disappointing.
