45lb Doodle: too big is better than too small
Boomer is a 45-pound Scribble, about the height of a small lab. He is very tall but very thin with a lot of down. I first bought him an XL size and it fit him but was too tight. In the end it went up 2 sizes due to the price and the XXL is a bit big for that but I think in this case it's better to be too big than too small. Now it's a loose fit - but it's comfortable and it's not so big that it fell off. Photos for reference and attraction.
