I used them to work with transcription. They're a great inexpensive option. The sound quality is very good and the noise cancellation, while not perfect, is really great considering the price. My only concern is that if you wear glasses they fit too tight around your ears to be comfortable; In the end, they press the temples of the glasses against my head. Although they are quite comfortable when I'm not wearing glasses. Or I fix this problem by raising the arms of my glasses a bit, but of course that changes the angle of the lenses to my eyes. I'm not taking a star off for that because these headphones are great and I'm wondering if that thing is unique to glasses for me (or common to all noise canceling headphones).
