Review on Weehoo iGo2 by Michael Cleveland

I start this review with the condition "This is my first review/post". Let me set the frame by letting you know that according to my brother's solid testimony, I bought a Weehoo iGo (single seater) a few years ago and my daughter and I were in love. We have traveled many kilometers with our Weehoo. Baby number two was on the way so the natural decision for me was to sell my iGo and use the money to upgrade to an iGo 2! The day of delivery came and when I was able to open the box and pull everything and my jaw out. practically falls to the ground. I've never fallen in love with a company and hated it like I did with Weehoo. Why? This is because the quality of their (Wehoo) product has gone the Buffalo way. Not only did I love iGo very much and recommended it to everyone I came in contact with; but I have always raved about the quality of their product. I can not do this anymore. I only give this product one star for the quality of the product; and yes I am comparing the quality of iGo 2 to my iGo (single seater). In my entire life I have never felt more cheated than I did with Weehoo. I have sworn by this company for years and now I feel cheap, used and taken advantage of. How does the quality you ask differ? Well, to be honest, the shorter answer is to ask what else is good quality. Here is a list of things that are completely different and inferior to iGo. (This isn't a quibble either, these are things I IMMEDIATELY noticed that are immediately different): 1) Seat frames are not the same thickness/diameter (my daughter's bell no longer fits her seat handle because of the diameter is smaller) 2) Seat fabrics and pockets are much cheaper and have a "plasticier" feel. The seats aren't as soft or comfortable either 3) The quick release shackles that used to be everywhere on the iGo are now being replaced by cheap split pins with wire locks 4) The tire is a different material and costs less 5) The pedals are of lower quality, optics and haptics. The truth is that iGo 2 still serves its purpose and if you haven't owned a Weehoo in the past then you know nothing. But I do realize that in order to be "competitive" and make more money by charging the same price, Weehoo has changed what goes into the development of their product and their event, although it works the same, it's not the same Product.
