This is a highly versatile, heavy duty mount. I bought a new RV with a built in TV area. This section had a sticker that said "Maximum Diagonal 48". So I bought a 48 inch diagonal. Then I discovered they weren't kidding, I had a half inch on all sides for a mounting error to make the TV fit. As soon as I took the mount out of the box I realized how easy it would be. The only critical mounting distance was vertical. I simply attached it to the TV in advance and measured it. I removed the TV and placed the bracket on the wall, marking the mounting holes, drilled to my preliminary measurements, and mounted. I placed the TV on the mount and using the left-right dual lever and tilt function, it slid right in. I was surprised. The TV moved away from the wall with its brackets far enough away from the wall and easily connected all my cables. I put the TV back in and done. You will love this mount
