This VGA splitter is solid and well made; High quality, durable housing and cables. I had no signal quality issues even with only one monitor connected as some have mentioned. It should be noted that I only use short, high-quality VGA cables to connect my monitor and TV at the same time (maximum distance 10 feet), so I can't speak about long-distance signal quality. The only difficulty I had was that when I restarted my computer, the screen resolution changed from 1920x1080 to 1024x768 and the image on the computer monitor shifted a little to the left, leaving a small gap on the right. I don't blame the splitter for this, as it was due to plug'n'play issues with connecting two monitors at the same time and confusing the computer. Changing the resolution quickly and adjusting the horizontal alignment on the computer monitor fixed the problems and no longer occur even after a restart.
