As an inactive musician, I appreciate the accuracy of the reviews that have been submitted on this KZ ZSN. I had no intention of using them on real monitors, although I always could. Fits well, good build quality. The highs and mids were great, but I didn't hear the bass. I contacted Kinboofi and got a vague reply about their frequency response and then went to YouTube to see if those lower registers were active and indeed they were. So I turned to finding my sound driver program, Realtech, and adjusted the equalizer settings. to maximize low frequencies, and they've worked relatively well since then. I replaced the cheap silicone with memory foam because I feel like they don't stick in my ear very well, and yet I don't feel like I'm losing bass when I move. If I cover my ears with my hands, the bass is about where I want it to be. I also found a bass booster app for my phone that really boosts the bass. a little so I can snag things, or uncomfortable if they're in my ear when I'm lying down. Overall very happy with the purchase and it was a learning experience so I know what to look for in my next pair.
