If you're a kayaker you know that anything that isn't attached will eventually get lost. These retaining straps are a great way to store pliers, bogu, clippers, radio, phone, etc. The only downside is the size of the reel. It's a little bit more than I would have liked. It's solid though, everything is secure and easy to attach to my Hobie Outback. I fish in salt water and regularly spray them inside and out with a little WD40 to keep the salt water from attacking the fine details. There were no problems with them. A good product.
