The first thing that will strike you about this facial cleanser is the rather high price. This is an excellent product, cleans and lathers fairly well and is almost perfect. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell a lovely fragrant fruity scent that changes or develops a bit as you start rubbing it on your face and it starts to foam. It's fruity and pleasant all the time, but not a lasting scent. This is quite a liquid facial cleanser and it's easy to squeeze more out of the bottle than you really need. At $45 per bottle, this is one of the downsides of this facial cleanser. It also pretends to "exfoliate," and while it's a small amount, the cleanser is so subtle that when you actually use it, you'll only feel a few grains of sand here and there. oily lather just enough to cover your neck and torso and maybe even your hair or scalp if you like. It takes a little more water and time to wash off completely due to the thick suds it produces. After washing off, skin feels clean, fresh and a little dry/tight, but not much. Then apply a face cream and you're done. This is an absolutely wonderful product that would be even better if it was a bit thicker and had a bit more grit to really be an "exfoliating" facial cleanser. You won't be disappointed with this product, but you can find something similar for less than $45.
