I use a lot of yarn so I order big spools and bobbins. It's handy to leave the mesh on the spools/cones I'm not using to keep them from unwinding. Other reviewers have stated that they have issues with line tangling when pulled off the spool. Here's a tip: Cut the mesh to the height of the spool plus 50%, place one end on the bottom of the spool, pull the other end of the mesh over the spool, leaving the top 1/4 inch of the spool open . Putting the spool on the spindle fixes the mesh in the spool so it doesn't crawl over the top and tangle with the thread.
