As a longtime Norelco Phillips razor, I have installed replacement blades many times. I have two razors, both 3000 models. After all this time, they don't take a long time to shave. After using the new blade set for a week, I noticed some changes. The razor blade grinds from time to time. Sometimes the blade and body need to be pushed to keep them from getting stuck in the razor head. Also, the shave isn't as close as another Norelco 3000 razor. If I hadn't seen all the ads for .99p and up blade sets from China, I might have had more confidence in these blades. The cost of a set of replacement blades prior to this purchase was almost the same as the cost of a new razor. Not this time. I think the problem is partly with me and mainly with my doubts. I will continue to use the razor but not every day. A three star rating is as fair as it gets.
