My main issue with these mugs is that the resin or plastic outer shell doesn't match the shape of the mug itself. There is a tiny part on the rim of the cup that is always deformed or something. Allow the water to get between the cup and the resin/plastic. I really wish they would fix this or just seal and flood it. Soapy water can get stuck there, and if you drink, you can accidentally drink that uncomfortable standing water in the morning, so you won't want to use this beautiful work of art for at least a few days until it's completely dry. I also believe that the same issue increases the risk of the resin cracking, ultimately affecting its durability. Finally, there was a non-slip part on the bottom that got wet. Let's just say I broke a couple of coasters that were stuck to the still wet floor because they don't dry that well. My pretty coasters get stuck and then fall on the floor, the coaster is gone. Away with it, the bottom grip is not really necessary. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars because I love art so much.
