I ordered a kit for my 2017 Passat SE. I had to watch a youtube video to learn how to install the footrest as there are no instructions. The plastic is inferior to the factory part, which is not surprising. However, this made it difficult to securely install the footrest as the locking pins did not remain rigid enough to seat properly. Of the three cones I could only fix two (after 20-30 minutes of fighting). The throttle body cover wasn't an issue, but it was a little odd crimping the sides to secure it. The brake cover was theoretically light. BUT, the quality of the material was too fragile to fix. After fighting for another 15-20 minutes it seemed safe. A day or two later my foot hit it while parking and it came off. Realizing it would never lock securely, I just went to a Volkswagen dealership and ordered an R-Line brake housing. Cost around $50 but easily fixed and hasn't been a problem since. Overall the pedals look good, but the quality of the materials makes installation difficult.
