Phone requires setup first

This phone is the same make and model that Verizon Fios sells to its business customers. Verizon customizes all of its phones. But this one is unconfigured and doesn't work with my existing Fios service unless it's connected directly to its router with an ethernet cable. Simply plugging your phone into the Ethernet port on the back of your computer will not work. Contacting Yealink did not help. This is a Chinese company, they don't have phone support and live chat help. If you want to use this phone in close proximity to a router, it works. However, if the phone is to be used in another part of the office, it will not work.
