Not an 8 " hammer, very small.
This is NOT an 8" hammer. It is 6". The head is 2" in diameter. It is very small and light (2.7 lbs ) so it takes a lot more effort. Both ends seem to be the same material, although the yellow is a little softer. It doesn't distort the quality when I'm making rings. I use this when they're on a steel mandrel to to make them perfectly round Generally it does what it's supposed to do, but the description doesn't match.
