The sound in this set was excellent but for me, I am 80 years old, it was very difficult to press the different buttons. The rear was also too flexible for me, but I'm sure it will be fine for others. For you athletes, this is the ticket. I also have hearing aids and that was the problem for me, not the headset. I definitely recommend them for younger people or those who don't have hearing aids. I should have read more carefully as these are sports headsets as mentioned above. I used them to read audio books. One thing I didn't like was that I couldn't find anything after the purchase or before to replace the battery and didn't think about it until they arrived. I couldn't find it at all. It also depends on how long the battery can be charged. If, like my 2nd generation iPad, it can last five years and still work, then it's a good buy. One more thing: I use the headset every night before bed to listen to a book and use the timer on my iPod, but the headset doesn't have a timer so that was a minus for my purposes. The batteries run out really quickly. Again, bikers and other sports enthusiasts will love this headset.
