Well what I like about this device is that it supports multiple regions and is also lightweight and easy to carry. He could play the Chinese version of my sister's Mulan. However, things that should be standard in a DVD player are missing. There doesn't seem to be a menu item, which is the problem. If you want to see special features, you have to tediously skip the movie just to watch them, and you don't always know which feature is selected. Since there doesn't seem to be any menu access, you can't change the language and subtitles that way either. There is a settings button, but it sucks and doesn't always work unless you want it to. Sometimes I manage to successfully change the language or subtitles after messing around with the setup a bit if I'm lucky. There's also a USB port, which I think is for watching videos from a USB device. If I wanted to watch videos this way, I would just use my computer. I do not recommend this device.
