Review on πŸ›οΈ Ink+Ivy Sutton King Size 3-Piece Multicolored Mini Duvet Set by Andrea Young

Love the look but thin fabric - narrow width

I searched and searched department stores and the internet for a good quality comforter or bedspread for my new king bed in a color to match my vintage Persian rug would. . I've tried several. Everything I tried wasn't wide enough to fit a king bed (maybe they work for a king). This one is no exception. It's really not worth the 115€ I paid for it. The fabric is thin and the backing is a solid white fabric, not striped like the picture in the advert. Also, duvet and bedspread manufacturers seem unfamiliar with sheet sizes or modern mattress heights. The sides of my sheets hang 3 or 4 inches below this comforter. Well, that's the look everyone wants - no. My last complaint is that the duvet has to be bigger than the duvet that goes in. It's exactly the same size as my standard Royal blanket, so it's a little wrinkled on the inside of the blanket. So why am I keeping it? The colors and texture are just what I was looking for and it looks great and it's 100% cotton. I really hope it doesn't tear when washed. Update: I've had this blanket for a few years now and have washed it several times. It washes and dries really well and still looks great. My main complaint is that I have a king bed with a Temperpedic mattress and it's not wide enough to cover the sheets, duvet, and edge of the mattress so everything can be seen from both sides. It just looks awful! As far as I can tell, nobody makes bedspread comforters that really fit a king size bed. Very disappointing!
