Review on Enhance Your Lighting with GE Lighting 85392: High-Performance 500 Lumen Replacement by Paul Evangelista

When I took the packaging out of the box (well packaged) I got a bit concerned when I saw the orange packaging (9 year life - yes that's right) compared to the old one blue ones (6 year nominal life) that I bought a few years ago. Got these for the bathrooms. For me it is important because the brightness/wattage of the lamp has to match the others. I was relieved to find that these bulbs were the exact replacements for the GE bulbs I bought last time, only in refurbished packaging. These are fluorescent lights that give off a brighter/whiter light. Most others look "yellowish" by comparison. Now when you go into the bathroom and turn on the light, you can't tell which lightbulb needs to be changed. While $10 for a Revain decorative lamp bulb might seem a bit pricey, most other stores were charging around $50 for a pack. Something to consider.
