Review on ๐Ÿ”  Melissa & Doug Deluxe Alphabet Nesting and Stacking Blocks: 10-Piece Educational Set by Jared Coleman

Not the best Melissa Doug I have!

I like the concept of birdhouses! It is educational for toddlers in many ways. I'm in early childhood education and I use so many different tools and activities! Their quality is not what I expected! It's cardboard with a shiny cover, just like paper! Peek in the corners because glue or glue isn't the best! One day the baby finds these little loose corners. Here they pull until they can no longer! What leaves an ugly page! I didn't read the description well when I bought it, I thought they were wooden birdhouses! I'm guessing it was wooden because Melissa and Doug are known for wooden toys, not cardboard toys! Other than that, this is one of the most dissatisfied purchases I've ever made from Melissa Doug! I have a lot of Melissa Doug toys! Even the flimsy box it came in can easily fall apart! problems. The paper not only comes off easily! It's very easy to break! Babies are not careful! They fall down, sit somewhere, some chew and put toys in their mouths. Cardboard and paper do not hold up well when wet! These birdhouses don't even last a few months! I bought them for my kindergarten at the end of November and they already look like they went through a war! I wouldn't recommend them if you have multiple kids playing with them or rough little ones! This is not durable cardboard or lasting quality! I would not be happy about a gift! I think Melissa Doug should consider using wood as they do in a lot of their toys! Then I might think about buying another set again! Until then, I'll stay away from these. As a fan of Melissa Doug, I'm a little disappointed in these birdhouses!
