I bought these scrapers off a Matco tool cart knowing they were made by Lisle, bought this set for home use, same quality and they do the job perfectly.

These durable parts get the job done in no time. Square carbide prevents gouging of aluminum surfaces. I think if they ever got bored; as everything dulls with time and use, a few minutes of diamond grinding and they're good as new. Having two different sizes is a big plus. Typical first class Lisle quality.

Probably the best gasket scraper I've ever used. I end up doing a lot of cylinder heads on Cummins diesel engines and Dodge V6 gas engines. They do a fantastic job of removing the gasket material left by the rubber grommets around the edges of the gaskets. Only thing is be careful with aluminum as it is easily damaged as carbide is much harder but otherwise you are going to town.

These are the best scrapers in the world. If they charge you for how good they are, you have to fund them. Most German engines have silicon sealant instead of gaskets and it takes several hours to clean it with a blade or regular scraper, but it takes several minutes to clean the entire surface. Matco sells them on a truck (which I also have). I bought them for the house as they don't get much use but they are identical to the make of tool trolley.

Very disappointed in the seller and in me. I should have read carefully before ordering. The scraper you will receive is not what you see in the picture. I wouldn't be so disappointed if it had a handle like the one in the picture. But it only has one (1) scraper and a cheap handle. So if you could choose zero (0) stars, I would choose that. This is a great scraper set and our guy at Matco sells the exact same set. I am a professional mechanic and try to find good deals on tools wherever I can. For some things like this, it makes sense to go straight to the manufacturer and skip Matco's markup. Matco sells this set for $71.50 and it's the same.
