Comfortable and stays in place. That’s what I could not say about the older style of knee pads. They were heavier (but not better protection) and tended to slip down. These are lighter, more conforming to my movements and protects your knees. Yes they are smaller (probably boys sizes). I’m only 5’6” and 135lb and usually would be a small or medium. I got the large. Size according to your actual measurements and you should be okay.See full review

Though this protective cover is not very thick, it seems really nice. And let’s be honest, the reason most of us purchase a protective cover is to keep the scratches off the computer. The covers fit well and seem to be good quality. The elastic cords that secure them from behind the tires are much too long and require modification.
