A drop. and it gets ruined

I really wanted to like this cat carrier. $140 at the time of purchase, this is the most expensive cat carrier on Revain. I was willing to spend a lot of money as I liked that it was a strong bowl and there were no mesh windows for my cat to chew through or use her claws. I didn't like that this battery requires an extra battery and charger. I was also willing to pay for that to have a fan blowing air into the trunk. I asked three questions about battery/charging. and they were withdrawn and did not answer. ALSO. I spent a few hours researching this product off AMAZON to find out what battery and charger combo would work. Yes, I know the product mentions a 20S battery. but NO MENTION how to charge it. and there are different types of batteries. (EDIT: I've since learned from a similar product from another vendor that the power bank used to extend cell phone battery life can be used as a power source.) On to the product itself, apart from the battery issue. I have mixed thoughts. The grip is good. as well as the operation of the product as a whole. The straps are good as are their secure points. However, the $140 holder is made of brittle plastic. One drop, even from the height of a car seat onto the floor, and this cover will shatter like an egg on the floor. The door is another plastic, even more fragile. The locking mechanism consists of two small plastic loops, about the size of the lid of a tic-tac container. My cat was also able to snuggle up against the door and slide her paws under. Stepping out of this carrier I see the very real possibility that once the tiny latch breaks, my cat will break either the plastic loop or the locking mechanism. $140 down the drain. HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEMS: If the manufacturer had links and/or suggestions for the charger/battery on the same page it would be very helpful and gives confidence that the product can be used with fans and lights as intended. Don't let the customer spend time trying to figure out how your product works. Likewise. if they made plastic a millimeter or two thicker. with stronger, less brittle plastic. it would instill a LOT of confidence in the buyers. I certainly can't find this product worth the investment for $140 plus the extra money for a battery and charger, flimsy plastic, and flimsy mounting points. Likewise. The manufacturer must attach great importance to the questions asked and answer them quickly and seriously. OVERALL 2 stars for the detail quality. I would very much like to do version 2.0 with improved plastic, a hinge. I would try again at this moment but I will be returning this version.
