Ordered this for my Roomba 530. I have replaced the brush rollers many times with no problems. The brushes included in this set have a slightly larger diameter than the original brushes. The Roomba 530 will run for about two minutes before shutting down and reporting an Error 2 - Clean Brushes error. I put the old brushes back in and they work perfectly. The larger diameter seems to hang a bit on the wires holding the brushes. Any rubbing like this leads Roomba to think the brushes are clogged. I have used other non-iRobot genuine parts in the past and have not had this issue. The filters fit well, the side brush works too. So while this may work for your Roomba 600 series, it will not work for the 530 and may not work for other 500 series. The manufacturer should remove "500 series" from the description.
