I don't usually write reviews but this is a must. I used the extension for 5 minutes and used the hair straightener to cut 1/8 inch out of the walnut. I did one side of the board without the extension, no problem. When I flipped it over, I used an extension cord. After 5 minutes of use the shank warped - this warped my router bit and now the quick release on my plunge router will not engage I have only used the router a couple of times and had no problems with it before. $350 in damage, not to mention what happened to the workpiece due to the calibers caused. The only answer is that they only refund the original product, not the damage caused. Not worth saving a few bucks, do yourself a favor. and spend the extra money on a decent non-Chinese one.
