This saves a lot of time when changing from halogen to LED as it solves the problem of excessive flickering. They do not require the installation of a load resistor. I originally bought LED bulbs not realizing the need for load resistors. Regular LED bulbs cost about $8 per bulb. They cost about $25 for a lightbulb. However, when you add the cost of a terminator for each lamp of about $3 plus the time and effort to install the terminators, the $14-15 difference per lamp is worth my time and energy. These bulbs are a little pricey, but again, they're worth it. The brightness on them also matches or exceeds the brightness of other bulbs I've had without worrying about hyperflashing. I would recommend them if you want to avoid installing load resistors.
