Update: I will give these boots 1 more star. After disparaging them for a while, they are not as disappointing as I first thought. The floor doesn't slip as much as it did when new, but I still like the stuff that was sprayed on the floor the best. The culprit is that they slide on solid wood. They stick to the pavement pretty well. My daughter likes them a lot after wearing them for a few weeks so I think they are ok. Original Rating: I'm a little disappointed in these boots. Anti-slip? Not as good as it seems. The bottoms have a really beefy tread so you think they should have good traction right? NO. It's all for the show. My daughter's feet kept sliding on the floor when walking on wood or vinyl. There's this weird thing on the underside that looks like it's been sprayed and it actually makes the underside MORE slippery. See photo. Maybe it will pass after a while. The boots at least fit well and are comfortable. They look good too, but I need snow boots that are more functional than stylish. The height of these boots is ridiculous for actually playing in the snow. They go just above my daughter's ankles. Didn't realize it said "overknee" in the description as they look like winter boots. What use are they in the snow if they are so short? I photographed her in these new boots alongside others she had just outgrown. You will see the difference immediately. In general, I don't recommend them for playing in the snow. You might like them if you want boots that look like winter boots but aren't.
