We received this pair of beautiful snowshoes on a Friday and my daughter was so excited to put them on to go outside to play in the snow on Sunday. This happened in just one day. False advertising! Got them last minute before flying to Europe for Christmas. I put them on my son to try on at home and then I noticed a tear in the zipper. We're going today so I can't return them and he needs something to wear until we can replace them so there's no going back. He's a 5.5 and I bought a 6 so he can wear wool socks. We tried them on outside with socks and I found them uncomfortable. After an hour outside in thick socks and shoes, his feet were still cold. Disappointing.

We took them to the mountains for a week long trip and they have held up well. The bungee laces are more decorative in my opinion because when we tried tightening them a bit it didn't seem to work. It also made the bungee long and my daughter stepped on it. These are good boots for cold weather and snow. They are bright purple in color and fit snugly to keep water out. They are comfortable and relatively light. They have a handy side zip for easy on and off.
