Digitizer not working

Replaced several screens on old iPads. None of them were easy, but all worked. The iPad 6 is a little more difficult, but I finally got it back together. The only problem is that the digitizer doesn't work properly now. He doesn't answer everywhere. The touch button seems fine, but I can't lock the screen because I can't enter all my passwords. There are only 2 tabs to attach for the digitizer and both appear to be snapped in place and undamaged. I will try to contact the seller for troubleshooting suggestions but from the looks of it this could be a bad thing.
