Surprisingly quiet except for a full pass but never gets to it. Pleasantly surprised that this can work for desktop work.
The quality is there lads, although it can and does get quite loud at full throttle. I've never heard that on an 8-core/16T Xeon with a decent load. But at startup when the system BIOS spins all the fans to check for tachometers/fan sense - GOOD MORNING. I think this will be my go-to choice for Socket 2011 builds regardless of height - this came in a 4U case and I might even pre-order my usual all-in-one closed-circuit cooler for my new personal try boxes. It's acceptably quiet.
