if you like hearing clicking noises that are worse than on the circuit board than it is your card plus the sound sounds very unreal or right iv should have sounded iv blaster zx in almost 4 years before it died it was clean, no clicks and sounded much better. i usually prefer the onboard board over asus but after changing profile to flat and removing all so called improvements and leaving only the compressor clicks decreases alot i will update my review as i continue to use it but am for now I'm not a fan and I don't have surround sound from the SPDIF output, which in itself is reason enough to give it one star, but it has decent sound, a little better than on board, and the normal software that comes with it deserves a second star
