Fleece upper is not waterproof
My son's favorite color is yellow and I let him choose the boots. When they arrived I was worried the top wouldn't be waterproof so I sprayed some waterproofing spray on them. Unfortunately, despite the spray, his feet quickly got wet while playing in the puddle. Fully fleece lined and very warm, they are suitable for walking in light snow, but anything wetter or deeper won't work.
