Although I should have paid more attention to the photo showing the straps that attach this item to the base rig, I have to say that I am of am very disappointed with the thinness of the item packaging material. It fits a 3L hydration pack but I don't expect it to last long. It's so thin I wouldn't trust anyone backcountry to use it. Disappointed. It also requires the fitting of a third vertical strap; Only two (on each side) mounting this item on the base rig is a very poor design choice. And for those two straps to attach to a hook and loop, no. I'm assuming the "outside" / front is MOLLE, but that's a bit of false advertising to me as the attachment straps are definitely not. Disappointed. That's why I don't understand the high ratings. I assume these reviewers have different expectations than I do. Yes, it's a $40 item, but I've seen other similar items on sale that cost less and are better made. I am very angry with myself for agreeing with the positive reviews of what I saw in the photos. Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid this topic. If I can figure out how to get it back at no cost to me, I will. If I can't, I guess I'll live with it and find a use for it. Did I mention I was disappointed? I think the "trademark" speaks for itself. 2 stars.
