My whole house is decorated in a modern style, so I was drawn to this lamp while surfing the web. Definitely matches the color and style of my living room and I love it so much. My old light is daylight but I like it brighter and whiter in my living room so this is perfect. If you prefer it softer, this color might seem a bit garish to you. I think the price is definitely worth it. Installation was pretty easy. Just assemble all the pieces first (would be good LEGO time for kids lol). The video says you have to drill a hole in the wall but we see that our light has a metal element built into the wall and we can just screw the socket to the metal element and no drill is required at all. . I would say that hanging the lamp ideally requires two people, one holding the light and the other connecting the wires (the wires part is easy too as they are all color coded). So I would suggest having at least one person who is physically stronger to hang the light. The light isn't heavy, but it takes a little time to set at the right angle. But in general the work is easy.
