Item came quicker than expected. The design, fit and finish are amazing. Expensive yes, but worth it. The sheath is much better than expected and made in the USA. worth your money. Buy it. You will not be disappointed. Have, although in some places bolts with ss. But that's a common theme with all my backers because they can and will rust. Compared to bk16, it cuts better, cuts better, etc. Obviously, the top design is weaker than bk16, but it is strong. Any of these would make a good addition to a survival kit, but I find the bk18 to be an important upgrade for game/fish handling. Connect it to bk7 or bk2 or bk9 and you're done. Different tools for different tasks. Very satisfied, very useful. And finally, a decent case. The scabbard is suitable for bk16.
