If you are a long distance bicyclist, you need both a chamois and a good lubricant to prevent chafing. This is better than the other creams I’ve tried because it has aloe in it, repairing the damage you’ve already done and helping to prevent any that might be forthcoming. If you are having chafing during long rides, make sure your bike saddle is the right width for you and make sure you are using a high quality chamois cream. This is the best I’ve used. Highly recommended!
