I've been using this product for a while, at first I was a bit hesitant because it's so big, also I was skeptical that every old bottle from around the house would go to work instead of just licking all over. BUT any old bottle will work. lol. They're pretty big if you couldn't tell. I wasn't sure if it would work for what I wanted it for. However, it really is the perfect combination. I have hibiscus at home in a large pot (I live in Wisconsin and it's not a hardy variety). I'm not very good at watering my plants. Especially not those who are also picky. This guy is finicky and I've almost killed him about 3 times a year since I got him in 2016. These cool things have helped me be a little less Grim than usual, which is so cool. I like that they are terracotta. , they were well packaged and thanks to the careful packaging I had no major concerns that they might be damaged in transit. I put it in the pot and don't move the tip at all. I just take out the bottle, fill it up and quickly flip it over so I don't spill a ton. I only have 1 in my hibiscus and to be honest I haven't used the other 3 because I don't have them. any other potted plants large enough for these spikes. But maybe I'll try them in my garden this year. If this winter ever ends.
