Wow. I use this instead of pasting here and there! Incredible pace achieved with the material. Used on i7 4770k at 1.23v at 4.6ghz. Arctic Silver had about 82* on cores with 120 Corsair h60s. Switched to a graphite pad and went all the way into the high 70's. I noticed that the processor recovers faster when going from a stressful state to standby mode compared to inserting. I plan to use this for my GPU when I add a water block to the 2080. I used the same block later this week and installed it on my new i9 9900k. Standard volts and GHz and it lasts incredibly well. At idle it hangs around 28-33*C. It's interesting to note that when I removed the liner from the i7 to put the i9 on I noticed the contour when ihs so I suspect it's compressing the material, to make good contact? I didn't see a need to crop it, but would probably crop it in a GPU application. The material is definitely thicker than the paste, although there is no noticeable increase in resistance when installing a CPU cooler. I didn't notice this when installing the Corsair AIO H60 on the i7, I then installed the ekwb water block on the i9 and again didn't notice any resistance when attaching the compression screws to the CPU holder.
