In our home we tend to carry some neck tension which improves SIGNIFICANTLY after the tongue is released BUT life still throws us all sorts of things that can lead to even more neck tension as this is where we stress seem to endure. There is a neck pillow massager that we all use if we see one of us using it so I thought I'd buy another one. This time I decided to dry dry this style with a shoulder apron because it seemed interesting and would be easy for my kids to use (with supervision). ! We can use it in ANY room in the HOME or even in the CAR (passengers ONLY as your hands/arms hold it in place and limit your ability to drive safely). The charger is NOT a USB charger which I think is more durable and long lasting. The massager has a HEAT option (this is GENTLE heat that does NOT burn) which you can feel a little through the shirt, but you can feel it more when you pull the collar/shirt. down from the neck. When you turn on the massager, the heat will turn on by default. So if you don't want to turn it on, just press the HEAT button to turn it off. There is also a THREE level speed option: low, medium and high. You'll be surprised how effective even a low level can be in certain areas. We tend to START LOW and then move up to medium and high as the knots melt. The default massager should start at MEDIUM, so press the level selector to change it. Another option is the DIRECTION of the nodes (forward or backward). We like to try the standard for a few minutes and then switch in the opposite direction if the standard initially seems too aggressive depending on the node and tension level. I LOVE the carrying case which is perfect for storing the massager. in between and also great to take away. It can hold a massager and a charger, and you can also put a phone case and some other small things like a phone charger, etc. if you just want to carry a case. We really ENJOY this neck massager and find it useful for self care as we don't have to leave the house to use it, we can use it whenever we have time and it's so easy to take to any room etc. I would buy this again.
