Review on Vive Hand Massager Black Teal by Angie Johnson

Compression massage, low heat setting

I would describe the Vive handheld massager as a pressure (compression) massager. This is not a kneading massager and electronic pulse. The interior of the device inflates and deflates, applying controlled pressure to the fingers, palm, and wrist. When my wrists or backs of my hands hurt, I like to squeeze them tight. Sometimes I use compression gloves when my hands hurt a lot. So I like the pressure massage of the Vive handheld massager. I use it every few days and my hands seem a lot happier using the massager after a day of computer work. The design of the device allows some choice as to which areas receive the target pressure. There is a small cut-out on the front for fingers to fit through, allowing for a wrist and even a forearm to fit inside. My arm goes in almost to the elbow; inside the massager about 12 inches. The massager is wireless so I can sit and watch TV while using it. At the highest settings, the massager works for about 2 hours. At the minimum settings, the massager works for about 3 hours. The massager will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of use. It charges from USB-C to USB-A with the included cable. The massager has several options: 2 vibration modes, heating (on/off), 5 intensity levels and 5 massage options. Massage options: 1) every 2-5; 2) automatic massage; 3) simultaneously massage the wrists and palms; 4) massaging the wrists; 5) alternately massage the wrists and palms. I wish the heat was stronger. It's so weak I can't feel it at all, but other than that I like this handheld massager.
