I have a few small cameras and several sports cameras including the Osmo Sport. I'll probably pick up the Hero 9 soon because of the controls this gimbal offers. For cameras that aren't on the compatibility list, it's a gimbal, not a remote control. But the really nice features of this gimbal have to do with the remote control. As a stabilizer for a sports camera, it's awesome and you can fully balance it. Gimbal designs specifically for sports cameras typically cannot be balanced. They lock in place with a simple bar clamp and sometimes "chatter" when loaded. If properly balanced, the stabilizer will not do this. Outstanding quality, ease of use and versatility with the right camera models.
