I have had problems with a knee for many years. I did my best to avoid the surgery, which included knee braces. I tried a lot. All gave a measure of relief. Issues: Some of them folded behind my knee and caused enough irritation and chafing that it wasn't worth upgrading. The last one I used was open behind my knee but didn't go over and under my knee far enough to provide the support I needed and had very little compression on my knee where it was most needed. I had this knee brace for a little over two weeks and wore it all day every day. I could NEVER wear a knee brace all day. For me it's a BIG thing. First, it's convenient. It fits perfectly. It has soft material under my knee that doesn't rub. The compression is full and tight around my knee and the adjustable straps ensure a perfect fit. Don't worry about decreased blood flow. I really forget I'm wearing it. word of honour! I still have knee pain but only about 10% of what it used to be. Most importantly, I can now walk up and down stairs without climbing one step at a time and still don't have the stabbing pain that I used to have. All intense pain is gone. I can not believe that! If you've tried other knee pads that just didn't work or caused problems that weren't there before (chafing), you owe it to yourself to try one of these. The pendant is very solid and well made. I have no doubt it will take a long time.
