Tried these braces at Dicks and they were really nice, they were $20 off at Revain. I've had some issues with cartilage pain when climbing stairs, squatting, or kneeling. Great for recovering from a broken kneecap, I can walk with a lot less difficulty. I have tried many other braces but none provided the proper support for a healing patella. It doesn't stretch as easily or as quickly as other braces, and if it does, the way the straps are adjusted, you can still tighten them as you like. I bought this knee pad for my 15 year old daughter. I read all the reviews and bought the XX-Large and it fit perfectly. This is a really great patella stabilizer. It doesn't hang around my daughter's leg and fits her just right. However, it fits exactly (exactly what I wanted). Just be aware that it might be tight the first time you put them on.
